How Much Does a Pickleball Court Cost in Pakistan?

Pickleball court cost is driven by three things: whether you have a usable existing slab, which surfacing system you choose, and whether you need lighting and fencing. Converting an existing hard court is dramatically cheaper than building from ground up.

Pickleball is the cheapest court sport to build, which is exactly why it spreads so quickly. But 'cheap' covers a wide range, and where you land in it depends almost entirely on one question: what is already on the ground?

Three routes, three very different numbers

RouteWhat is involvedRelative cost
Line marking on an existing hard courtSurvey, clean, mark to official dimensions, portable netLowest
Modular tiles over an existing slabSlab assessment, tile supply and install, net postsLow to moderate
Acrylic resurfacing of an existing baseCrack repair, acrylic system, line marking, permanent postsModerate
New build from ground upExcavation, sub-base, drainage, asphalt or concrete, acrylic, fencing, lightingHighest
Routes to a pickleball court, cheapest first

What drives a new build

  • Ground conditions and how much excavation and sub-base the site needs
  • Drainage design — sized for peak monsoon intensity, not annual average
  • Base type: asphalt or reinforced concrete
  • Surface system: painted concrete, acrylic, cushioned acrylic or modular tile
  • Fencing height and extent
  • Lighting, if you want evening play — which in practice you do
  • Number of courts, because mobilisation spreads across them

Converting a tennis court

A single tennis court can hold up to four pickleball courts, though two with comfortable spacing is more usual. If the tennis court's base is sound, conversion is one of the highest-value moves available to an existing facility — it multiplies court hours without touching the groundworks.

Tell us what is already on site and we will tell you which of the four routes actually applies.

Frequently Asked

For casual play, yes — line marking and a portable net is a legitimate starting point. For a facility selling court time, a dedicated surface and permanent posts will hold up better and play better.
